Beloved husband of Jan Hirst (nee Buchert), loving father of Matthew (Deborah), Michael (Brandy) and the late Marc Hirst, grandfather of Alexis, Jordan, James, Jacob, Joshua, Adalyn and Mackenzie, dear brother of Dianne (Harold) McBrayer, Carl (late Mattie) Hirst and Phillip (Marie) Hirst, also survived by many loving family members and friends. Born in Nashville, TN, Jim was a proud 1967 graduate of Fr. Ryan High School and a 1971 graduate of Xavier University. Passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the age of 67. Visitation Saturday 9 AM until 10 AM at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 10:30 AM at St. Simon the Apostle 825 Pontius Rd. (45233).
