Karl Kovach, beloved husband of Evelyn for 60 years, until her passing on November 19, 2011.
Loving father of Kandy (Steve) Schreiner of Charlotte, NC. Papa of Kellee (Robert) McGahey of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Christopher Schreiner of Charleston, SC, and Kimberlee Schreiner of Los Angeles, CA. Brand new Great Grandpa of Evan. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the age of 95. Karl was the son of the late Mary Csapo and Peter Kovach of Steelton, PA, where he played both football and violin. A graduate of Penn State University, he began his career as a Mechanical-Aeronautical Engineer at NACA in Cleveland, OH, then GE Evendale. After retirement, he enjoyed playing golf and spending winters in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. Karl will always be remembered as an avid sports fan, especially football and golf. A special thank you to all of his caregivers at Evergreen Assisted Living and Queen City Hospice. A celebration of Karl's life will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Road, Cinti, OH 45231.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church or Queen City Hospice, 4055 Executive Park Drive, Suite 240, Cinti, OH 45241.
