Paul J. Neumann
was born on January 12, 1922 and passed away peacefully on February 26, 2017 in the loving hands of his family. He was the dearly beloved and devoted husband of the late Marge (Bauer) Neumann, cherished dad of Mike and Mary Jo Neumann, Mark and Deb Neumann, Jo Ann Beck (Bruce Vath), Jan Neumann, and Bill and Sandi Neumann, best ever grandpa and partner in fun of Katy and Kevin Bedinghaus, Stephanie and Jeremy Carle, Annie and Dave Kessler, Michael and Nikki Neumann, Laurie and Brad Williams, Matt Neumann, Sarah Neumann, Paul J and Shelby Neumann, Melissa and Dave Yeazell, David Farwick Jr, Karrington and Kaitlin Neumann and the late William and Brandin Neumann, and loving great grandpa of Tyler, McKenzie, Jessa, Abby, Kay, Ellie, Clare, Cooper, David, Sam and Lucy. Dear brother of Joan Muenich, brother-in-law of Pat Simpkins and Charles Backscheider, uncle and friend to many. Paul served his country in WWII in the 845th bomb squadron of the 8th Army Air Corps in the European theater. He was with Lodge and Shipley machine tool company for 50 years as a machine tool design engineer and held multiple patents. His most cherished patented pieces were his children. Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home from 8:30AM-10:00AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Dominic Church at 10:30AM. If desired, memorials may be made to the Sister Mark Neumann Scholarship Fund at Seton High School, 3901 Glenway Ave, Cinti, 45205.
