James R. Schutte

James R. Schutte, beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Jones) for 49 years. Loving father of Karen (Richard) Lesiecki, Kathy (Scott) Burkhart, Mike (Jennifer) Schutte and Terri (Joe) Sunderman. Cherished G-Pa of Brian (Firoozeh), Steven, Emily (Tony), Sarah (Bill), Jonathan (Alexandria), Jacob, Clare, Lauren, Grace, Katie, Megan, and great grandpa of James.  Devoted son of the late Lauretta (Bissmeyer) and Robert Schutte and brother to Ed (late Mary Jean) Schutte, Carolyn (Steve) Dick, Joanne (Dick) Kaufman, and Rick (Barb) Schutte. 

Jim graduated from Elder High School in 1960 and he started a successful commercial glass company. Jim and Joyce loved spending time with family, friends, and traveling in their camper. They spent their summers camping along the Ohio River creating great memories with their children and grandchildren.

Family will greet friends on Sunday, April 28th from 5-8 PM at Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 29th at 10:30 at St. Antoninus, 1500 Linneman Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
