Marjorie Lacher Obituary

Marjorie Anna (Erpenbeck) Lacher

1920-2019

"Margie", Beloved mother of Timothy Raymond (Peggy Jaspers) Lacher, Cherished grandmother of Rebecca Nicole (Jonathan) Colvin and Andrew Scott Lacher, devoted great grandmother of Zachary Timothy and Nicholas Andrew Colvin, Jacob Donald, KayLah Marie, and Olivia Nicole Lacher. Died at the age of 98 in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 4, 2019. Her husband of 65 years, Raymond Charles Lacher predeceased her in December 2011, as did her daughter Vicki Lacher Miller in August 2017. Margie was an Alumnus of the University of Cincinnati, and worked for Burke Marketing Research before she married Ray. After her children were grown, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service until she retired. For many years, she and Ray were active members of the Delhi Historical Society and the Delhi Senior Citizens. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and being outdoors-preferably barefoot. Margie had a passion for chocolate, crossword puzzles, UC football and the Cincinnati Reds. A music lover, Margie often sang and remembered the lyrics to numerous old classics; a favorite was Take Me Out To The Ballgame, which made her smile even on her last day.
