(nee Scherer) beloved wife of 59 years to the late Bernard Joseph Grote, loving mother of Kathy (Tom) Aug, Karen (Alayne Kazin) Grote, Lynn (John) Maloney, Mark (Christine) Grote, David Grote, Kimberly (Mark) Pohovey, and the late Mary Grote, grandmother of Brian (Holly), Michelle (Jeff), Kevin (Jill), Jeffrey (Brittany), Scott (Rebecca), Eric (Brittany), Lisa (T.J.), Michael (Gretchen), Matthew (Cori), Anna (Dennis), Mark Joseph, Jonathan (Erin), Rachel, Katherine, Luke, Benjamin and the late Matthew, great-grandmother of 21, loving sister of Barbara Ullmann and the late Geraldine West, Carolyn Meyer, George Scherer and sister-in-law of Joyce Scherer, Jim (Pat) Grote, Barbara Grote, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Friends may call at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Monday, August 13th from 10:30AM until 12:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1PM at St. Dominic Church.
