It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Angelina Rose Crabtree, who left this world on May 17, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on March 30, 1938, Angie was a beacon of love and generosity in the lives she touched, leaving an indelible mark on her family and friends.
Angie was known for her giving spirit and her passion for bringing joy to those around her. She enjoyed shopping and dining out, which were often cherished outings filled with laughter and love. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. A devoted collector, Angie had a knack for finding beauty in the little things and made her home a welcoming sanctuary where family holiday celebrations flourished.
Angie was also a talented baker, often found in her kitchen baking desserts that were enjoyed by all. Her warmth and kindness made gatherings at her home a cherished tradition, a place where loved ones came together to celebrate life.
She is survived by her loving children, Rose (Lou) Zechella and Trina (Craig) Holtkamp; her beloved grandchildren, Jason (Jill), Ashley (Jason), Zachary (Becca), Tiffany (Kenny), Curtis, Brandon, and Kelly (Steve); and her great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Crosley, Reed, Luke, Kate, Alex, Walter, Theo, Ben, Rory, Brycen, (Brooke), McKenna, Owen, McKenzie, Gwen, Liam, Riley, and Quinn. Angie was also accompanied in life by her furry companion, Molly, who provided her with comfort and companionship.
She joins her late husband Frank Crabtree, her son Eddie Unthank (Shirley-living), and her siblings Charles, Grace, Helen, Harry, John, Ruby, Mary, and Frances in eternal rest.
Family and friends are invited to honor Angie's life and legacy at a graveside service on Thursday, May 22, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Association, located at 3819 West 8th Street, Cincinnati, OH 45205. Memorials may be made in her honor to the Salvation Army, 1806 Scott Blvd., Covington, KY 41014 or Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth.
Angelina Rose Crabtree will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
