Barbara Ann Kartak

Barbara Ann Kartak, a vibrant soul whose love for the outdoors and deep admiration for wolves truly defined her character, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, just a few days shy of her 85th birthday. Born on July 14, 1940.

Barbara carried a friendly spirit that drew people to her. She was known for her passionate love of the outdoors, where she found solace and happiness in every fresh breeze and sunlit moment. 

She is survived by her siblings: Steve (Jill) Kartak, Mary (the late Ray) Heiland, Jack (Linh) Kartak, David Kartak, Mike (LaDonna) Kartak, Ken (Att) Kartak, Judy (George) Norling, Katie (Rich) Mayer, and Tim (Kelly) Kartak. Additionally, she leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Richard and Evelyn Kartak, as well as her siblings Cecile, Bernard Kartak, and Rick (Paulette) Kartak.
