Basil Maddox
November 30, 1937 — May 25, 2024
Basil Maddox, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25th. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jennifer of 62 years, 3 children, Amanda (Brian), Joanna (Clifton) and Christopher (Jennifer) and seven grandchildren. Basil received a MA in Engineering from Christ’s College, Cambridge and was a member of the Institution of UK Mechanical Engineers. He had a passion for sports cars, and enjoyed traveling, tennis, golf, sailing, woodworking and authored two historical fiction books in his retirement years.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6th 6:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd., Cincinnati.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
