Carol M. Kitchen (nee Willike)

Carol peacefully departed this life on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the age of 81. She is the beloved wife of Leonard "Len" Kitchen, loving mother of Cheri (Doug Hunter) Gatto, Janet (Monte) Malone, Julie (Keith) Strahm and Rob (Taylor) Kitchen. A devoted grandmother of Matthew Gatto, Andrew, Nick, Adam and Evan Malone, Connor, Camille and Carly Strahm, Grace, Anna, JoJo and Brantley Kitchen and Taylor's daughter Kassidy. Great grandmother to Houston Malone. Carol was a caring sister of the late Fred (Gayle) Willike and Joan Willike. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her mother the late Margaret Willike, passed the talent to her of becoming a pianist, which led to her teaching the piano. She took so much pride in watching her students grow as musicians. Among other things she loved was bowling, ice skating, going to festivals and being with her friends.

More than anything her legacy will live on as being the most devoted mother and grandmother. She was always present and her smile lit up the room when she was surrounded by her family.

She now has joined the angels in Heaven and celebrated Christmas Day with Jesus. We have so many memories to hold close to our heart. Just knowing she will be watching over us gives us peace. She will be missed but we know we will see her again.

Carol's visitation will be Tuesday, December 30th from 5-7 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. A blessing will begin at 7 PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati Ohio 45263-3597.
