Cletus "Butch" Brossart, born on December 28, 1956, in an era that shaped a beloved figure in his community, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him.

Cletus was known for his generous spirit and good heart, always ready to lend a hand or share a hearty meal with friends and family. His affinity for cinema meant that many cherished moments were spent watching movies, where laughter and togetherness flourished. Moreover, Cletus possessed a rare talent for fixing anything that was broken, a skill that endeared him to many who sought his help. His gift-giving was unique and thoughtful, leaving a lasting impression on all who received his carefully chosen tokens of affection.

He is survived by his beloved siblings, Melanie (Keith) Hansmann and Steven (Maria) Brossart, who will carry forth his memory and values. Cletus was an adoring uncle to his nieces and nephews, Adam (Clarissa), Kayla (John), Sarah, Jacob, and Gracie, and he reveled in the joy brought by his great-nieces and nephew, Emilia, Gianna, and Rafa.

Cletus was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Cletus and Mary Brossart, who instilled in him the virtues of love, integrity, and community service. His compassion and generous nature will be missed by many friends who remember the impact he made on their lives.

A visitation celebrating Cletus will be Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at St. Joseph Church 25 E. Harrison Ave. North Bend, Ohio 45052 starting at 9:30 AM with a Mass to follow at 10:30 AM.

As we remember Cletus Brossart, we celebrate a life that exemplified connection, warmth, and generosity. His spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
