Colleen J. Mallari, born on December 30, 1964, in Cincinnati to Joseph G. Meurer and Shirley Meurer (nee Anderson) and left us peacefully on December 25, 2025. A beloved daughter, sister, and mother, Colleen's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Colleen was a woman of profound kindness, always ready to lend a hand or listen attentively to those in need. Her quick wit and knack for humor made her a cherished companion, as she filled the rooms around her with laughter and warmth. She deeply loved her child, Emiliana Mallari, cherishing their moments together and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Colleen was also known for her affection for her pets, which were a beloved part of her family.
Her nurturing nature extended beyond the home, as she excelled in her customer service roles, where her helpful demeanor and kindheartedness made an indelible impact on colleagues and customers alike. Colleen possessed an inquisitive spirit, staying connected with her family, always eager to learn about their lives and share in their joys.
An avid reader and a talented poet, she found solace and inspiration in literature. Colleen also enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the Reds and Bengals, gathering with friends and family to cheer them on.
She is survived by her child, Emiliana Mallari; her siblings, Greg (Gail) Meurer, Kathy (Bruce) Barlag, Joseph (Darlene) Meurer, Mary Langford, Amy (Mike) Hulver, and many nieces and nephews, each of whom carries a part of her spirit in their hearts.
Colleen is preceded in death by her parents and sister Ann Caudill.
Family will greet friends Friday, January 30th from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd. A memorial Mass will follow at 10 AM at St. Dominic Church. Memorials if desired, may be made to the family.
Colleen Mallari will be remembered for her generous heart, her laughter, and her unwavering support for those she loved. Though she has departed from this world, her legacy of kindness and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
