Daniel J. Kolde, aged 63, passed away on February 16, 2026. Born on January 6, 1963, Dan was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family.
Dan's wife, Lori Kolde, stood by his side, sharing in the joys of life that they built together. Their deep bond was evident in the way he celebrated their life together, filled with warmth and affection. He proudly watched his children, Nicholas (and his wife Catherine), Logan (and his wife Lexie), and Megan (and her boyfriend Austin Barney), grow into remarkable individuals, nurturing a loving environment where laughter and joy thrived.
A proud grandfather, Dan found immense joy in his grandchildren Hunter, JJ, Nolan, and Rory. He often expressed how lucky he felt to have them in his life, reveling in the small moments and milestones that made each day special.
Dan had an adventurous spirit, enjoying travel, especially seeing his Key West Family, and exploring new places. His love for live music and his cowboy lifestyle was a constant in his life. He had a particular fondness for a good drink of bourbon; it became a tradition for him to share these moments with family and friends.
He is also survived by his siblings and his mother-in-law, Lovey Schoch and her late husband Ron Schoch, who will hold him in their hearts as they cherish the memories they created together.
