David R. Schumacher

David R. Schumacher, born on July 7, 1956, departed this life on October 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and music that will be cherished by those who knew him. David was a gentle man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the great outdoors with a passion for walking and hiking. 

 David had a special fondness for the timeless melodies of The Beatles. Their songs were a soundtrack to his life. 

David was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Georgia Schumacher. He is survived by his beloved family, including his brother Mark (Tina) Schumacher. David was a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews: Christy (Josh) Irwin, Julie (Jake) Tyahur, Traci (Derek) Reinshagen and Jonathan (Hannah Riess) Schumacher, nine great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew. 

Family will greet friends Monday, October 20, 2025 from 10 AM until time of Blessing at 12 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd.

His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, who will hold dear the memories of the music he shared. David R. Schumacher will be missed but never forgotten.
