Edward Joseph Krug

Edward Joseph Krug, a devoted husband, father, and respected member of the community, passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on August 28, 1938, in Miami, Florida, to William and Anne Barton Krug.
Edward's educational journey began at St. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Miami, Florida where he graduated from high school in 1956. Following High school he proudly served in the United States Air Force, a testament to his commitment to his country. He then pursued a higher education at Dowling College, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Professionally, Edward dedicated a significant portion of his career as a Vice President and Mortgage Officer with Union Savings Bank. His expertise and knowledge in the field earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of his career, Edward was deeply engaged in his community. He shared his passion for music and faith as an active member of the choir at St. John's Catholic Church in South Pasadena, Florida. His involvement in the church underscored his commitment to his faith and the joy he found in uplifting others through song.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Maude Krug (nee Manchester), and his cherished daughters, Kathleen Bell of Ocala, Florida, and Karen De Cardona of Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his brothers, Theodore Krug and Patrick Krug.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anne Barton Krug, and his brothers, William Krug Jr., Robert Krug, and David Krug.
Edward Joseph Krug leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment to family, and service to his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and whose lives he touched throughout his remarkable journey.

Burial will take place at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines, Blvd., St. Petersburg, Florida 33708.
