Elizabeth Anne Ryan, affectionately known as Beth, entered this world on the 21st of May, 1963, in Sidney, Ohio. She was a beacon of light and warmth, whose presence enriched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. A fierce, loving, and determined individual, Beth possessed an unwavering spirit and an innate ability to see the good in others. Her caring and thoughtful nature became the foundation upon which countless cherished relationships were built, as she consistently put the needs of those around her before her own.

Beth pursued a life dedicated to education and nurturing young minds, serving as an esteemed elementary school teacher at Our Lady of Victory. It was here that her passion for teaching flourished, as she fervently imparted knowledge and kindness, instilling in her students not only academic skills but also the values of compassion and generosity. Graduating from Lehman Catholic High School in 1982 and later from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 1986, her dedication to education remained a source of pride throughout her life.

In addition to her illustrious career, Beth relished in the simple pleasures afforded to her by life, indulging in hobbies that exemplified her creative spirit. She took immense joy in collecting and restoring vintage antique dolls, as well as cultivating her gardening and landscaping skills. Beth also found tranquility in sewing, knitting, quilting, and painting—each stitched fabric or brushstroke infused with her love and artistry. Her kitchen was a haven of warmth, filled with the aroma of her beloved baked goods, particularly her famed apple pie, brownies, and coffee cakes.

Beth's spirit shone brightest in her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. For 39 years, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Ken Ryan, navigating the joys and challenges of life hand in hand. As a mother, she reveled in the achievements and growth of her three children, Kyle (Julianne) Ryan, Marc (Emily) Ryan, and Colleen (Ryan) Mabley. Her legacy endures through her grandchildren—Jack, Hudson, Adeline, Kendall, Colton, and Cayden—who were the heartbeats of her existence and undoubtedly her proudest accomplishment.

As the cherished daughter of Norman and Marcia Meyer and daughter-in-law to Jack and Carole Ryan, Beth leaves behind an enduring legacy of love. She is also survived by her brothers, Jeff (Milagro) Meyer and Matt (Noureen) Meyer, as well as many nieces and nephews who have been touched by her affectionate spirit.

Beth faced her final battle against Glioblastoma, a brain cancer that she courageously fought until the very end. On the 22nd of February, 2026, she departed this earthly realm, leaving behind a tapestry of memories filled with love, kindness, and unwavering strength.

Beth will be honored during visitation on the 5th of March, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. A Mass celebrating her life will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church in Cincinnati on the 6th of March, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

Her legacy will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In our hearts, Beth's light shall eternally dwell, guiding us with the warmth of her love and the strength of her spirit.
