Gerald J. Gray

Gerald J. "Jerry" Gray, a beloved member of the Cincinnati community, passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born on March 27, 1943, and his life was marked by a deep love for family and a passion for the simple pleasures that brought him joy.

Jerry was a proud son, father, and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family. He is survived by his son, Joseph (Angela Moore) Gray, as well as his grandchildren: Samantha (Shawn) Smith, Joseph Stuward, Kaitlynn Moore, Joseph Moore, and Sophia Moore. His great-grandchildren Adalynn, Paislee, Harper and Emma will forever hold dear the memories they made with their great-grandfather. Jerry also leaves behind his nephew, Donald (Lia) Jump, who will remember him fondly.

In addition to his cherished family, Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Linda Gray, and his daughter, Jennifer Gray. The love he shared with them will continue to resonate through the lives of those he leaves behind.

Jerry had a vibrant personality, known for his enthusiasm for sports, especially his unwavering support for the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. An avid car enthusiast, he relished attending car shows, where he found joy in both the vehicles and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. He embraced the outdoors, often seen enjoying the beauty of nature surrounding him as he sat on his front porch or in the park.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH, 45238. Friends and family are invited to gather and share cherished memories of Jerry, celebrating the life of a man who touched the hearts of many.

Jerry will be deeply missed but respectfully remembered for his love, laughter, and the warm legacy he leaves behind.
