James B. Bloomfield, 92, of Aurora Indiana passed through this world peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026 with family at his side.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Lennie Lee Bloomfield and Ethel Christine Sellers (nee Pulley), brothers Lennie Alfred, Raymond Edward, Harold Eugene, Gregory Wayne and sisters Eva L. Martin, Doris L. Canell, Dora Mae Bloomfield, Carolyn Fisher, and Norma Jean Weber, Children Douglas W. Bloomfield, Kimberly Gail Newland, and Robert Brice Bloomfield.
He leaves behind his companion Deborah A. Kahney, daughters Susan Edwards, Debra Phelps (Russell Gribbie), Rhonda (Richard) Ainslie, Tonya Davis, son Anthony Allen Bloomfield (Rita Tacket) and Michael Davis sister Marlene Creekmore and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
James was a free spirit who lived to the fullest and had a life that most people only dream about. He loved the wind blowing through his hair and the vibration of his motorcycle, taking on the Tail of the Dragon with his friends and fast cars. He traveled the world making memories with his companion Debbie. He was a self-employed contractor, who loved his family and was the family historian with pictures dating back to the pre-1900's.
James B. Bloomfield PM was a member of Aurora Lodge No. 51 F. & A.M Aurora Indiana, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and Mistic Shrine of North America.

The family will receive friends for visitation on June 26, 2026, from 10:30 AM until time of Masonic Service at 11:45 AM followed by funeral service at 12 Noon at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238.
