Jean Knierim, aged 90, passed away peacefully on April 23th, 2026, with family by her side. Recently of Strongsville, Ohio, to be near her daughter Gail, Jean was a longtime Cincinnati resident and a devoted Reds fan who enjoyed traveling for spring training and cheering from home. A longtime member of St. Dominic’s parish, Jean volunteered as a gym teacher, lunch aide, and Scout leader. Her artistic flair and social nature defined her successful career in retail and her many hobbies, including gardening, traveling and boating with her husband Bud, and creative design. 

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Margaret Harrell; brother, James; sister-in-law, Janet; husband, Frank “Bud” Knierim, Sr.; daughter, Barbara Robisch; son-in-law, Jim Robisch; and Curtis Knierim.

She is survived by her children, Tim (Carol) Besser, Gail Jackman, Susan (Eric) Williams, and Frank “Butch” (Kim) Knierim, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
