John P Dinsmore (12/29/1944 -1/27/2021)
John was a man of many talents. He was a loyal Elder High School Alumni. He played football during his High School years and was a great supporter of Elder High School. Purple was his favorite color, and he made sure everyone knew that he was an Elder guy (always loyal to the purple & white)! He was a Vietnam Veteran who loved his country! He retired from the U.S. Postal service after 30 years. John was a longtime Bowler & avid Golfer, later working as a Ranger at Sugar Ridge Golf Course. But, most importantly he was a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and an inspiration to everyone that was blessed enough to be touched by his presence. He knew no stranger and was a dear friend to many through the years! John is preceded in death by his Father Thomas H Dinsmore II, his Mother Irene A Dinsmore, his Brother Thomas H Dinsmore III, and his Sister Lois A Dinsmore. John will be missed dearly by his two daughters, Julie M. Vista, Katie I Deitsch, his grandchildren Noah D Vista and Samantha G Deitsch, his brother Michael A Dinsmore, His brother Robert N. (Lisa) Dinsmore, and all of his nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, February 8th at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Pike from 6-8PM.
