Lenora G. McCoy

Lenora Gwendolyn Whiston - McCoy born December 15, 1956 to Roma and Leslie Whiston. Died January 11, 2026. Loving wife to Terry McCoy of 51 years. Fiercely protective mother of Joshua McCoy (Shari), Arielle Balz (Bernie) and Zachary McCoy (Jamie). Doting and proud grandmother to Jacob, Conner, Noah, Ryan, Tristan, Piper, and Thaddeus. Loyal and supporting sibling to Penny, Lacey, Patty and Charlie.

A woman of many names: Winnie, Gwenny, Mom, grandma, Nona, and Mimi, but one truth is certain Lenora was a woman who was unapologetically loyal to her family and giving of herself to those she loved. She loved to lunch with friends, attend ceramics and gather with rosary club. She was an avid reader and lover of soap operas. She thoroughly enjoyed a good shopping spree, whether online or in person. Her love of her heritage across the ocean was exemplified by her dual citizenship in Wales.

She left us far too soon and will be incredibly missed by those who loved her.

Family will greet friends Monday, January 19, 2026 from 1 PM until time of Blessing at 3 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Family is invited to a reception at Wishbone Tavern in Delhi immediately following the blessing.
