Margaret C. Flinchum

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret C. Flinchum, who left this world on July 4, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on March 1, 1940, Margaret was a beacon of love and warmth to everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Margaret dedicated her life to her family, whom she cherished above all else. She was a kind-hearted and generous soul who deeply enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Her spirit was always uplifting, and she had a natural ability to bring happiness to those around her. Those who knew her well can attest to her giving nature and her unfailing optimism.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Flinchum, and her great-grandchild, Joshua "Peanut." She was also preceded by her parents, George and Catherine Rinck, and her siblings George, William, David, Daniel, and Robert Rinck, Patricia Tolin, and Mary Edmonds.

She is survived by her children, Jim (Kathy) Flinchum and Mike Flinchum, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Her joy continued to grow with her grandchildren, James (Jamie), Josh, and Krystal (Ben), and extended even further with the blessings of her great-grandchildren: Hailey, James, Christopher, Ava, Devon, and Braxton. Margaret also leaves behind her siblings, Linda (Franklin) Dewar Jr. and Jerry Rinck, along with her nephew, Franklin III.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on July 14, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. A Mass will be held at St. Dominic Church on the same day at 10:00 AM. Memorials may be made in her to Hospice of Cincinnati.

Margaret Flinchum will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who loved her. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire all who knew her.
