Margaret A. Grogan, lovingly known as Peggy, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on March 23, 1940, in Cincinnati, she dedicated her life to caring for others, leaving an indelible mark as a cherished Registered Nurse at various institutions, particularly at Mother Margaret Hall. Peggy’s professional journey was not just a career but a heartfelt mission that showcased her caring and generous spirit.
Her love for family and friends was profound. She was a woman of vibrant personality, with strong opinions about society and social justice. She was never shy about sharing her thoughts, deeply engaging all those around her in meaningful conversations.
Peggy’s educational achievements were rooted in her graduation from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing, which set the foundation for her illustrious nursing career. Beyond her profession, her hobbies revealed her multifaceted interests—playing bridge, golf, dancing, and attending the theatre, all of which brought her endless joy. She also enjoyed expressing her creativity through cooking, sewing, knitting, cross stitch, and ceramics, often sharing her talents with loved ones.
Peggy was the loving wife of Jerry Grogan for over 41 years. Together Peggy and Jerry delighted in hosting dinners, where laughter and warmth filled their home, creating countless beautiful memories.
Her proudest accomplishments were her children and step-children, Martin (Salina) Kuley, Sharon (Luis) Kuley, Kenneth (Eric) Kuley, Jan (Steve) Thompson, John Grogan, and Susan (Mike) Mamrick, who filled her life with purpose and pride. Peggy was also a devoted grandmother to Gabriela, Ryan, Carmelia, Kayla, Andy, Jason (Ansley), Matt, and Brynn, who brought her immeasurable joy. Additionally, she was an aunt to many nieces and nephews, further expanding the circle of love that surrounded her.
Peggy was predeceased by her first husband, Roger Kuley, and her son, Michael Kuley. She also lost her step-son, Bill (Kea- still living) Grogan, and her beloved parents, Alfred and Edna Konerman. Despite these losses, she remained a pillar of strength and love for her family, embodying resilience and warmth until her final days.
A celebration of Peggy's life will take place on February 14, 2026. Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass at Our Lady of Victory Church at 11:00 AM.
