(nee Wedig) beloved wife of 70 years of Fred W. Winkelman, loving mother of Karen (Tom) Plogsted, Bruce (Rebecca) Winkelman, Gail (Tom) Farwick, Linda (Bob) Niehaus, Connie (Larry) Johnson and Shelley (Keith) Romard, grandmother of Brad (Anne), Amanda (Mike), Michael (Krystal), Bill, Shelby (Aaron), Thomas, Craig, Grant, Freddy (Michelle), Tyler, Alex (Corey), Nick, Curtis, Cassie (Manny), Connor, Cooper, Savannah and Spencer, 15 great-grandchildren, sister Claire (late Johnny) Guenther, Gary (Marjean) Wedig and the late Leonard (Vivian) Wedig, William (Anita) Wedig, Marcella (Mel) Laugle, Joan (Andy) Grey and Ron (Carol-living) Wedig, many nieces and nephews.

After working outside the home for a few years, Margie dedicated her life to raising 6 kids and taking care of her husband of 70 years.  She was a very active bowler, softball and horseshoes player. She volunteered many years coaching her children's youth sports. Her faith was a foundation to her life and she was a dedicated member at St. Dominic Church.  She will forever be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at age 91.  Visitation Wednesday, May 29th from 9 AM until 9:45 AM at St. Dominic Church (Gathering Space) 4551 Delhi Rd.  Funeral Mass to follow at 10 AM.  Memorials may be made to St. Dominic Church or Alzheimer's Association.
