Mark S. Langer, a beloved figure in the community and a dedicated family man, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 74. Born on January 5, 1951, Mark was a proud native of Cincinnati, where he nurtured a life filled with love, laughter, and significant accomplishments.
Mark spent many fulfilling years as a Retail Sales Manager, showcasing his keen instincts and customer service skills at the Ft. Mitchell Drug Shoppe and Drug Emporium. His career reflected not only his work ethic but also his commitment to serving others, making him a familiar and respected face in the local retail scene.
As a graduate of Oak Hills High School, Mark maintained a strong connection to his roots, instilling in his family values of hard work and dedication. He proudly served in the United States Marines, embodying a sense of duty and honor that continued to resonate throughout his life.
Mark was a devoted husband to Linda Langer (nee Durkin), and a caring father to Christina (Corey) Bogdan. He treasured his role in the lives of his family and took immense pride in their achievements, which he often regarded as his proudest accomplishment. His legacy is enriched by the fond memories created within the family, whether it was gearing up for the annual Taste of Blue Ash festival or the warmth of Thanksgiving celebrations that he cherished deeply.
Friends and family will remember Mark as a kind-hearted individual, often described as a sweet big teddy bear. His warm personality brought joy to many, and his laughter filled the rooms of those who were fortunate enough to know him. A lover of Bengals Football, Mark enjoyed cheering for his favorite team, sharing in the excitement of game days with family and friends.
In addition to his family, Mark is survived by his cherished relationships with his nephew and nieces, Robert Cullen, Kathleen (Josh) Kleemeyer and Erin Durkin, his grandneices, Leanne (Will) Queager, Grace Kleemeyer, and his grandnephew, Grant Kleemeyer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Langer, and his sister, Phyllis Moore.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 26th at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd. from 3-5 p.m. Funeral mass will be Monday, October 27th at St. Boniface Church, 1750 Chase Ave. Northside, at 10 a.m.
Mark S. Langer’s life was a testament to love and commitment. He leaves behind a legacy that will be forever cherished by those who had the privilege to walk alongside him on this journey.
