Martha A. Norman, affectionately known as Mart, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026. Born on February 8, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Martha's life was a testament to warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Martha hailed from humble roots as the cherished daughter of Frank and Philomena Wohlfrom. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Robert Norman, who predeceased her. Throughout her years, Martha worked as a teller at Price Hill Eagle Savings and Loan. She was admired not only for her diligence but also for her gracious and friendly nature—she never said a bad thing about anyone and was known to extend warmth and friendliness to everyone she met.
Her devotion to her family was her proudest accomplishment. Martha was always there for her children, the foundation of her strength and joy. She is survived by her loving children, Ken Norman and Kathy Jones, who carry forward her legacy. Her heart extended even further to her grandchildren: Caitlin (Zach) Mayer, Ben (Sidney) Norman, Michael Jones, Keith (Ashley) Jones, Mark Cliff Jr., and her great-grandchildren, Miles, Griffin, and Aiden—each one a testament to the love and care she tended throughout her life. Martha also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, grateful to have been guided by her kindness and support.
A lover of simple pleasures, Martha found happiness in working in her yard, immersing herself in books, solving puzzles, and bringing colors to life through coloring. These quiet joys reflected her calm, patient spirit and her appreciation for the everyday beauty surrounding her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, June 11th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Church.
Martha’s life was a tapestry rich with love, kindness, and unwavering support for those she held dear. She will be remembered not only for her gentle smile and warm heart but also for the profound impact she had within her family and community. Her legacy endures in the hearts of all who knew her, forever touched by her presence.
