Norman E. Mahoney, born on March 11, 1973, passed away on August 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories among family and friends.

Norman’s life was marked by a deep devotion to those he loved, especially his wife Vicky, who stood beside him as his closest companion. Together they built a family rooted in affection and mutual support. Norman was a proud father to Heather (Michael) Mahoney-Ruebel, Megan (Ryan) Mahoney, Erica (Devin) Mahoney, and Shaniya Courtney. The love and pride he held for his daughters was evident in all that he did.

One of Norman’s greatest joys was being a grandfather. He found endless delight in the company of his grandchildren: Conner, Chloe, Caylee, Paisley, Emma, Madelyn, and Aria. He relished every moment with them, always expressing his unwavering affection and support. The bond he shared with them was one of mutual adoration, a source of comfort and joy throughout his life.

Norman is also survived by his brother Mike Mahoney, brother-in-law David (Desirae) Hollingworth, sister-in-law Judy Hollingsworth and mother-in-law Shirley Hollingsworth. Others whose lives were touched by Norman include Terry, Brandon, Tyler, and Jessica. The warmth of his relationships made him a beloved presence to so many.

In remembering Norman, it is impossible not to recall his spirited approach to life. He had a passion for motorcycles, especially Harleys and his favored off road vehicle, a Honda Talon. Norman’s mechanical curiosity echoed his vibrant personality—adventurous yet grounded, always open to new experiences yet valuing home and family above all else.

What truly distinguished Norman was his generous spirit when it came to sharing wisdom and stories. Known for giving advice and telling captivating stories, he became a pillar for others, guiding loved ones and captivating listeners with recollections and life lessons. These gifts of narrative and counsel remain a treasured part of his legacy.

Norman now joins family members who preceded him in passing: his father and mother John and Charlene Mahoney, his beloved grandson Mason and his brother-in-law Terry Hollingsworth. Their memories continue in the hearts of those who loved them, honored by Norman’s own life and his enduring influence.

To honor his life and memory, visitation services will be held on August 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate Norman’s remarkable life and the profound impact he made on all who were privileged to know him.
