Patrice A. Grace, a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and cherished member of her community, passed away on June 12, 2026. Her departure marks the end of a life well-lived, characterized by kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family, faith, and community.

Patrice devoted 40 years of her life working at Mayfield Brain & Spine, where her commitment and professionalism were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her passion for service did not end at work; she was actively engaged in her church and the broader community, generously giving her time to City Gospel and always seeking ways to help others. A shining example of leadership and dedication, Patrice served as president of the PTA at her children’s school, enthusiastically volunteering and advocating for students and families alike.

Her love for her family was profound and steadfast. Patrice was a constant presence at every event, always showing up to support her loved ones with boundless enthusiasm and care. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ed Grace, and their three children: Allie (married to Dustin Bowling), Joel (engaged to Makenzie Shanks), and Troy Grace. Patrice’s spirit was deeply rooted in family bonds, which extended to her siblings—Dale (Connie) Hedrick, Wayne (Peggy) Hedrick, Dwight Hedrick, Nancy (Bill) Renken, Candee (Jack) Witterstaetter, and Donna Liegibel—as well as her beloved sister-in-law Sherry (Joe) Tipton. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

Throughout her life, Patrice demonstrated a humble nature, always giving without expecting anything in return. She was known for her upbeat, positive, and patient demeanor, qualities that made her a pillar of strength and comfort for many. As a high school cheerleader and a McAlpin's teen model, she embraced a spirit of enthusiasm and joy that continued to shine in her adult years. Patrice delighted in cooking and entertaining friends and family, creating loving and memorable gatherings filled with laughter and warmth.

Her love extended also to her faithful dog, Daisy, who remained a loyal companion during her journeys. Patrice’s enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures was evident in her passions—dancing, swimming, gardening, walking, shopping, and the beach brought her happiness and peace. In her later years, she selflessly cared for her mother, exemplifying her nurturing and compassionate character.

Patrice Grace leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and humility. Her memory will remain a beacon of light for those who knew her, inspiring others to live with the same grace, kindness, and dedication. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, June 20th from 10 AM until time of memorial service at 1 PM at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 3011 Harrison Ave. (45211).  Memorials may be made to Westwood First Presbyterian Church.
