Patty Ree Cole, born October 2, 1938, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, at the age of 87. Patty’s long and meaningful life was marked by warmth, devotion to her family, an enduring joy found in the simple pleasures she loved.
Patty was the cherished daughter of the late Linville and Zona Goff. She grew up in a loving family and was the beloved sister of Glenda Bartel, who survives her, and the late LaVonna Brady and Ray Goff. Patty’s legacy of kindness and care lives on through her family. She is survived by her devoted sons, Jerry (Debbie) Reneman and Michael (late Gina) Reneman and her treasured grandchildren: Jennifer (Matthew) Stadtmiller, Jason (Franklin Munguia) Reneman, Jayme Reneman, and Kurt Reneman. Patty’s family circle continues with her great-grandson, Daniel Reneman-Munguia, all of whom held special places in her heart. She was predeceased by her grandson Michael Reneman, who is remembered alongside her as part of a loving family bond.
Patty cultivated a life full of ordinary joys and treasured traditions. She delighted in cooking family favorites, always eager to share her love through homemade treats like oatmeal cookies, apricot bars, and pineapple cake. Her kitchen was a gathering place, filled with laughter and the warm aroma of sweets made with care.
Creativity and a sense of fun were woven into Patty’s days. She found happiness in coloring, an activity she enjoyed with quiet patience, and she was known for her fondness for watching soap operas, which brought her stories and entertainment to lighten her afternoons. Square dancing and eating at Frisch's brought her camaraderie and joy, a reflection of her lively spirit. She always looked to make herself up to go out and enjoy family and friends.
Family was truly at the center of Patty’s life. She often took her grandchildren to amusement parks, creating lasting memories and nurturing a legacy of joyful togetherness. Patty loved to read—especially books drawn from the Bible—seeking wisdom and solace in her faith and in the stories that shaped her spirit.
Patty’s life was rich with deep familial connections and a genuine enthusiasm for life’s pleasures. Her memory is cherished by her surviving family members, who remember her gentle humor, steadfast care, and the joy she brought to every gathering.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the same venue. Patty will be laid to rest at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, OH 45238.
