Paula A. Heckman, a beloved member of her community and family, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026. Born on July 27, 1949, Paula was known far and wide for her warm heart, unwavering generosity, and her unmistakable ability to connect with everyone she met.
Paula was a woman who truly did not meet a stranger. Her friendly nature was highlighted by the hugs and kisses she generously shared with family, friends, and even the teammates and families of her grandchildren at sporting events. She was deeply devoted to her faith, a pillar of strength who maintained a very religious life, guided by kindness and compassion. To those who knew her, she was one of a kind—a gentle soul whom you never wanted to see upset, but whose strength of character was undeniable.
Her family was the center of her world. Paula took great pleasure in spending time with her daughter, especially enjoying eating out together. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying a spirit of service and giving that touched the lives of many. A notable moment in her life was when she bravely saved her little brother from drowning—an act that exemplified her courage and care.
Paula is mourned by her daughter, Cami Wolf. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jeffery Wolf and Cody Wolf, who cherished her affection and support. Paula’s siblings Marc Donnelly and Brian (Anita) Donnelly stand alongside nieces and nephews Liz (Seth), Marc, and Cait in honoring her memory. The great nieces and nephews, Kyla, Jaxon, and Jacob, as well as many cousins and friends, also carry her spirit in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lena Donnelly; her sister Patryce Donnelly; and her aunts and uncles JoJo Sanzere, Tony Sanzere, Emmanuel Sanzere, and Bob Donnelly.
