Rachael C. Hasselbeck

Rachael C. Hasselbeck, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 57. She was born on October 24, 1968, in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she spent her formative years.

Rachael's academic journey was marked by excellence; she graduated from Seton High School in the Class of 1987 before pursuing her nursing degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. Her commitment to education culminated in earning a Master's Degree from Xavier University, a testament to her dedication and hard work.

Professionally, Rachael contributed significantly to the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Statistical Analyst, where her analytical skills and attention to detail played a crucial role in supporting the veterans she held in high esteem.

Known for her sassy and sarcastic humor, Rachael possessed a loving and giving spirit that endeared her to many. Her vibrant personality shone through in all aspects of her life, particularly in her cherished role as a mother to Lindsay and Samantha. Her proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly the love and guidance she provided her daughters, instilling in them the values that she held dear.

Outside of her professional career, Rachael enjoyed various hobbies, including playing Candy Crush, engaging in soccer, and volleyball, pursuits that highlighted her competitive nature and love for fun.

Rachael is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Mark Hasselbeck, her daughters Lindsay and Samantha Hasselbeck, her father Leonard Grebe, her sister Melissa Tenhundfeld, and her niece Kelly Eduardo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Grebe, her niece Stacey Stadtmiller, and her in-laws, Carl and Elaine Hasselbeck.

Visitation will be Monday, January 5th at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. from 5-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, January 6th at St. Dominic Church at 10 a.m.

As we remember Rachael C. Hasselbeck, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. Her legacy will continue through the lives she touched and the love she shared.
