beloved husband of 73 years to Mildred "Millie" Hammerlein (nee Colson), loving father of Ray Hammerlein and the late Steven and Penny Hammerlein, grandfather of Devon (Jason) Smith, Dylan Hammerlein, Danielle (Charlie) Smith, Steven Ray Hammerlien, Alan Hammerlein and Rana Hammerlein.

Dick was a retired Pipefitter with Local 392.  He was a devoted Deacon at Anderson Ferry Church of Christ for 48 years.

Dick passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 at age 93.  A private burial will be held by the family and A Celebration of his Life will be announced at a later date. If desired, memorials may be made to Anderson Ferry Church of Christ.
