Sandino Fiorello Lingardo

September 17, 1940 — September 15, 2022

Sandino Fiorello Lingardo (Sandy) was born September 17, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Vito & Rose Lingardo.  He passed away at Hillebrand Nursing & Rehabilitation Center from complications of bladder cancer on September 15, 2022 at age 82.

Sandy we to grade school at Central Fairmount and high school at Western Hills High School. He went on to Study Fine Arts at Ohio State University and after l year he instead decided to join the US Marine Corp Reserves. Sandy then moved to Beverly Hills and worked for the  US Postal Service for 2 years before returning to Cincinnati. His career was in Sales for Record Industry achieving Platinum sales for Polygram Records and had the opportunity to visit with many Rock Stars backstage.

He loved travel and toured much of Europe including father’s hometown of Felitto, Italy.

He opened his store Roadhouse Music on Rt. 4 in Fairfield, Ohio. After retirement he moved back to Bridgetown, Ohio.

He is survived by sisters Anita Horstman and Sylvia (Tony) Augustine and brother Rudy (Laura) Lingardo.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, October 11th at 10:30 AM at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church.  Family will greet friends from 9:30 AM until 10:20 AM in the Tekulve Room in the back of church.
