Suzanne Z. Freeman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Z. Freeman (née Tibbetts), who passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on May 26, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Suzanne lived a life centered on family, love, and making the most of every day.

Suzanne worked throughout her career at Southern Ohio College, Coldwell Banker, and Hamilton County MRDD. While she took pride in her work, her greatest joy was her family.

Suzanne was the devoted wife of 27 years to Kenneth Freeman. She was the loving mother of DeLone Jones Jr., Rick (Carolyn) Jones, and Brian Jones, and stepmother to Jennifer Freeman and Darlene Berryman. She was a proud grandmother to DeLone III, Hannah, Jessica (Fernando), Nicholas, Taylor (Jeremy), Logan (Logan), Bailey, Sabrina, Sarah (Nick), Jeffrey, and Jake (Mallary).

She is survived by her brothers, Ray Tibbetts, George Tibbetts, Billy Tibbetts, and Rick Tibbetts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naomi and Stanley Tibbetts; her brother, Archie Tibbetts; and her stepson, Kenneth Freeman Jr.

Suzanne was known for her outgoing personality and generous spirit. She loved celebrating holidays, especially the Fourth of July, which held special meaning as her wedding anniversary. An avid gardener, Suzanne found joy in landscaping, planting flowers, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. She also enjoyed spending time at yard and garage sales, always on the lookout for hidden treasures.

Visitation will be this Sunday, June 7th at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral, 4619 Delhi Rd. from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:30 p.m.

Suzanne will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, her kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her. Fiercely loyal and always willing to fight for the people she loved, she leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and strong family bonds that will continue through all who knew and loved her.
