Thomas T. Turner, a beloved figure in his family and community, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on November 28, 1943, Tom was a proud graduate of Elder High School and served his country honorably in the Army.
Throughout his life, Tom was known for his love of fishing and his enthusiasm for the Cincinnati Reds. He was particularly cherished by his grandchildren, whom he doted on with unreserved affection, embracing each moment spent with them.
Tom is survived by his children, Thomas (Tracy) Turner and Ann (Rob) Reniff. He took immense joy in his grandchildren, including Madison (Ryan) Fischer, Emily and Colin Turner, Andrew (fiance Ethereal Trippett), and Caitlin and Hailey Reniff. Additionally, he embraced the role of great-grandfather to Riley Fischer.
He is also remembered fondly by his sisters, MaryAnn (Mike) Sexton and Julie (Marty) Sapp, along with his in-laws, Donna (David) Curtiss, Jeanne Troehler, Bill (Colleen) Troehler, Michelle (Dave) Rockett, Joanne (Rob) Pasley, and Steve (Christy) Troehler. Tom leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss his warmth and kindness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ginny Turner, his loving wife Barbara L. Turner (nee Troehler), and his brother Lawrence Turner. As we remember Thomas T. Turner, we honor the impact he made on those around him and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
