Beloved husband of 55 years to Sandra Schmit (nee Maxson), loving father of Tammy  Heideman, Patrick (Shelly) Schmit, Robin (David) Barber and Kevin (Jill) Schmit, dear grandfather of Michael (Jamie), Chelsea (Bobby), Selena, Noah, Grace, Abby, Clay and great-grandfather of Braedon, Mason and River, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Passed away Friday, January 29, 2021. Age 78. Visitation will be Saturday, February 13th at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Pike from 1:30PM until time of funeral service at 3PM.
