Donald Richard "Dick" 73, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. He was born September 28, 1943 in Washington, PA, then settled in Cincinnati in 1971. Dick was a beloved teacher for 36 years at Oak Hills High School where he also coached wrestling for 26 years. Coach Roche earned many accolades during his tenure at Oak Hills. Since retiring from coaching, he officiated for the last 16 years. Dick was extremely loving and proud of his three children, Matthew, Amanda and her husband Danny Biser, and Cara; his three grandchildren, Ryan, Madison Biser, and Quentin. He is also survived by his wife, Theresa Padur and brothers, Barry and his wife Diana of Columbus and John Roche of Yuma, Arizona; as well as his many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, Bob and former wife, Pat, who passed away of cancer in 1997. Dick will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, adoring grandfather, accomplished teacher, distinguished coach, and proud Army veteran. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11 from 3:00 until 7:30 PM at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 5261 Foley Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Funeral service will be Monday 10:30 AM at the church. Memorial donations may be made in Dick Roche's name to Oak Hills High School District Attn. Katie Hunter/Dick Roche Memorial Scholarship.
