James E. Pardol
beloved husband of Dorothy Pardol (nee Kennedy), loving father of Beth (Stephen) Niermann, Amanda (Josh) Ison and Kimberly (Danny) Niesen, grandfather of William, Rebecca, Allison, Nolin and Leah, brother of Sharon (late Paul) Milczewski, brother-in-law of Susan (Joseph) Kwak, Ed (Diane) Kennedy and the late David (Linda-living) Kennedy also, nephew of Ann Podalsky and Mary (Richard) Ryka.
Jim was a family man who always loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He loved life and exploring. You could find him camping, boating at Lake Cumberland, catching a NASCAR race or smoking some delicious BBQ. Jim never met a stranger and was the social butterfly of the family. He enjoyed having his family around him swimming or playing with the newest toy or gadget he had. He was a kid at heart and reminded us all it was okay to play. Admiring trains, aquariums, and looking up at the night sky were among his favorite pastimes. He built his own telescope in high school and enjoyed being the family’s go to astronomer. Jim even rebuilt a 1965 baby blue Ford Mustang with the help of his family. He always had the right tool for any job. If you had a problem, he was the first person you could call. Jim was a proud veteran. He was stationed in Germany after enlisting in the U.S. Army right out of high school. This is where he built the independence of being an Entrepreneur. Working for himself was a great achievement with development of Jim’s Fin’s and his Architectural Metal Refinishing company.
