Jeffrey D. Cushman

Jeffrey Douglas Cushman, of Delhi Township passed away July 26, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born August 20, 1946 in Newark, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Kathryn, his late brother Jim and survived by his brother Joe. Jeff married Michele Cushman (McKinney) October 2, 1971 at St. Dominic Church and raised their family in Delhi. Jeff was a Navy veteran and worked professionally at Unisys, Inc. as a computer service and sales manager until his retirement. Jeff and his family's lives were immeasurably blessed in 2007 when he became a heart transplant recipient allowing Jeff to be part of so many additional family milestones and memories. Jeff was a problem-solving father for all of his children until his last days, providing loving advice and helping them fix things around the house nearly weekly. Jeff was a yardmaster, avid golfer, Bengals season-ticket holder since the 1970’s, classic car (GTO) fanatic and constant attendee to children and grandchildren’s sporting and school events over the years. He is survived by his four children Denise (Matt) Pelton, Tracy (Gary) Daugherty, Douglas (Teresa) Cushman and Christine (Doug) Bryant and adoring grandchildren Tyler, Kayla, Maxwell, Brooklynne, Brenden, Tenley, Mia, Everley, Jenna and many nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 9 AM until time of Mass at 10 AM at St. Dominic Church. Please join the family for a luncheon immediately following mass at O'Connor Hall beneath the church.  Donations can be made in memory of Jeff to Donate Life, The American Heart Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
