Beloved husband of Linda (nee Ebert) Wilson of 48 years, devoted father of Kyle (Michelle) Wilson, loving grandfather to Kaylee and Kourtney Wilson, beloved son of the late James Sr. and Congetta "Babe" (nee Iori) Wilson, dear brother of the late James (Mary Ann) Wilson Jr. and brother-in-law of the late Mary (Tom) Doherty Sr., dear uncle of James Wilson III, Timothy Wilson, Cristi (nee Wilson) & Kevin Riga, Richard & Karen Wilson, the late Thomas Doherty Jr., Susan (nee Doherty) & Robert Dahlstrom, Kathy (nee Doherty) & Dan Crable, Beth (nee Doherty) Ventre, Cindy Doherty, Amy (nee Doherty) & John Eckert, also numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John was a 1967 graduate of Elder High School and a 1971 University of Cincinnati graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He retired from United Refrigeration after 29 years as a manufacturer representative for Manitowoc Ice Machines. He lived a full and happy life and his great sense of humor will be dearly missed by all. John passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2020 surrounded by his family at the age of 71. Family will greet friends Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 12 PM until time of Blessing at 1 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Donations in lieu of flowers in memory of John, may be made to either the Cincinnati Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society or Heart Association.
