Joyce Ann Dolan Martini

Joyce Ann Dolan Martini, 78, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 25th, 2021 after a battle with cancer. Joyce was born on November 9, 1942 to Clara and Joseph Dolan in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from Regina High School in 1960, she went on to study teaching at Edgecliff College. After graduation, Joyce enjoyed teaching second grade until she started her next chapter as a loving mother. Joyce was a fiercely dedicated mom and grandma to her children and grandkids, she was always and forever their biggest fan. Family came first and was above all else to Joyce, a value she instilled in those around her. Thoughtful to an art, Joyce never missed honoring every special occasion for her family and friends. Joyce is predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law, Albert Martini. She is survived by her loving husband, John; son Jeff (Katherine) Martini, daughter Michelle (Craig) Stiens, four grandchildren Jonathan, Molly, Jacob and Nicholas, sisters-in-law, Wanda Martini and Sr. JoAnn Martini, nieces and nephews, as well as her very close friends Joyce, Carmen, Judy, Maureen and Joan. Always proud of her Irish heritage, Joyce never missed an opportunity to subtly celebrate it. So... 'May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand'. Joyce was a very special lady and will be greatly missed. Per Joyce’s request a private funeral will be held for immediate family. A Celebration of Life service and reception will be held Saturday, November 6th beginning at 1 PM at Western Hills Country Club.
