Louis F. Mersch

Louis was the devoted husband of Betty A. Mersch for 55 years, loving father of Eric (Andi) Mersch, Mike Mersch, and Christine (Mersch) Den Herder. He was the cherished grandpa of Maddie Mersch, Sydney Mersch, Connor Den Herder, Emma Den Herder, Alexis Mersch, and Nicholas Mersch. Dear brother of Ken Mersch, brother-in-law of Paul Miller, Carolyn (Miller) Witterstaetter, Joe Miller, and Alan Miller and Carl Miller (both deceased). He was a hard worker who put himself through St. Xavier and University of Cincinnati. He was a world traveler who visited Europe, Russia, and Egypt. He had a sly, subtle sense of humor. Louis passed away on November 25 at the age of 83. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Mass of Christian Burial for Louis will be celebrated Friday, December 11, 2020, 10:30AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 3450 Lumardo Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238. Masks are required. COVID distancing rules need to be followed. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229 or Hospice of Cincinnati, Twin Towers Health Pavilion, 2nd Floor, 5343 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224.
