This couldn’t have come at a worst time but it’s with a heavy heart to announce the passing of my wonderful, loving father today at 10:30 am. His battle with bone cancer is over that he battled for almost 10 years.  Richard Edward Lanter was born a twin of Late Thomas and Dorothy Reiring Lanter born April 12th 1944-March 26th 2020. He was 76 years old. His twin Raymond Edward Lanter passed away serving his country during Vietnam in 1968. Uncle Ray (his twin) was only 24 years old.  Dad is no longer in pain.  He’s survived by his beloved dog “Duke”, wife Donna, sons Rich Lanter (Kristen Lanter), Ray Lanter (Sheila Lanter), Ron Lanter. His brothers Tom (Ida), Bob (Donna Huber Lanter). His late Sisters Mary Bemerer and Marlene Thesing. His nieces Renee Lanter Langefeld, Teresa Hentz, Michelle Kent, Tammy Bemerer, and Tina Bemerer. His Nephews Greg Thesing, Robert (Bobby) Lanter, Dan Bemerer, Tommy Lanter, Tim Lanter and late-Robert (Bobby)Thesing. He also has countless grandkids. He was an exceptional Brother, Husband, Dad, Uncle, Friend, and Grandfather who loved to take us all fishing.  We Love you Dad!  At this time during this virus outbreak we are going to celebrate his life with a graveside service, for immediate family, Friday 10 AM at Lady of Victory Cemetery 810 Neeb Rd. Please keep us all in your prayers.
