Therman "Clyde" Cooper
He was a strong Christian man who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at age 93. He was the devoted husband of the late Fayrene Cooper (nee Warman), loving father to Pamela Ventre, Billy (Belinda) Cooper, and Melody (John) Messinger, dear grandfather to Christina (Jordan) Jones, Nicholas (Kimberly) Ventre, Erin (Dan) Carter and Chelsea Cooper; caring great grandpa to Logan Runyan, Lilee and Mason Jones, Jacob and Piper Ventre, Victoria and Grant Carter; loving brother to Lois Anderson; preceded in death by his parents Oda and Pearl Cooper, his brothers; Herman, Raymond, James and Robert Cooper and sisters; Thelma Graham, Betty Baird, Beulah Braden and Evelyn (LJ-living) Neal. He was loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was a very funny man who always had a smile on his face.
Clyde was in the Army's 3d Armored Division (Spearhead) during the Korean War. He was lathe operator for the William Powell Company for over 40 years. He was born at home in Pine Knot Kentucky on October 8, 1929.
Visitation Monday, April 10th from 10 AM until time of service at 12 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association
