Walter C. Kruer,beloved husband of the late Kathryn Kruer (nee Bettner), loving father of Walt "Willie" (Eileen) Kruer, Debbie (Gary) Wuest, Beth Ann (Steve) Coyle and Mike Kruer, dear grandfather of Adam, Kathryn (Mike), Amy, Ryan and great-grandfather of Jared and Kaylee, brother of Kay (Ron) Spiess, uncle of Libbey and R.J., dear friend of Shannon Smith along with his two beloved dogs Molly and Dixie,

Wally was a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a Cincinnati Firefighter for 35 years. He retired in 1990 as a District Chief.
